Further Interiors Research

The scans above were taken from a book called 'Lighting for Interiors- Photography' that I looked at. A useful source as you are shown the images and then the photography describes various useful points such as the lighting set up, cameras positioning, conditions on the day of shooting, equipment they were using etc. As with my first shot in the interior light scene it suggests ways to counteract low lighted interior scenes so that you can bring back the detail in areas that need it. I also like think the work of Jan Baldwin, bottom image, is similar to Simryn Gill's with the use of natural light reflections and neutrally vibrant colours applied in a more subtle methodology which is a process that I'd like to adopt, the reflections are much more intriguing when they are undertones for the vibrations of the cultural/social environment, rather than the main focus. Especially as within my pub interior settings there will be a counterbalance between the natural and artificial light sources.
